The Gaulino collection from BD Barcelona

BD Barcelona Design is one of those firms that lovers of the most creative Spanish design never overlook. Among its spectacular catalog, you can find true works of art created by some of the geniuses of international design—from dining tables to chairs or lamps with the most irreverent designs.

BD Barcelona works with current designers like Alfredo Häberli and Stephen Burks or the Färg & Blanche studio, among many others. The company also works with reproductions of icons of Spanish design, including some of the furniture originally designed by Antoni Gaudí or Salvador Dalí.

On this occasion, we highlight the new Gaulino collection, designed by Oscar Tusquets. Inspired by (and expanding on) the original design of the Gaulino chair from 1987, it takes this design classic and turns it into an entire collection that includes tables, chairs, a shelf and a bench.

The pieces feature black lacquered wood combined with hand-woven black leather seats and smoked glass surfaces. These pieces with organic cuts and silhouettes are inspired by the creativity of Gaudí and the work of the Italian architect-designer Carlo Mollino. Without a doubt, any of the refined pieces in the collection will be a perfect addition to the most elegant interiors.

The Rigatino washbasin by Antoniolupi

The latest launch from the Italian brand Antoniolupi is a pedestal sink - the Rigatino - which offers a sculptural tone perfect for any bathroom. As a stylistic bet in large bathrooms or as a practical addition to a smaller guest bathroom or powder room, this design fits into many interiors and is surprisingly versatile.

The design, with a cylindrical body covered in vertical lines, offers many customization possibilities. The base comes in different shades of solid wood and can be made of marble, as can the sink. In turn, the sink is available in marble and different colors and types of ceramic, as well as with or without an integrated shelf. And, of course, since it is a column-type sink, you can achieve a completely different look by playing with different taps.

Pinto coffee tables by Miniforms

In polished concrete, the Pinto coffee tables from Miniforms are perfect for both indoors and outdoors. The design of organic shapes is light, in contrast to the heavy material, and its aesthetic is contemporary and elegant. The proposal comes from the Milanese studio Skrivo, which found inspiration for Pinto in the concrete floors of Venetian palaces.

An essential feature of this design project is environmental responsibility in production: the concrete is recycled and recyclable, as it does not include metallic or chemical impurities. Furthermore, the concrete work is done without any internal reinforcement, working exclusively with an external mold. The tables are available in two sizes and three different finishes.

BonBon by Borzalino

Armchair? Seat? Poof? BonBon, DEBONADEMEO's latest design for Borzalino, is everything at once. Thanks to a piston mechanism, the BonBon backrest can be raised or lowered easily and quickly, turning the small armchair into a circular ottoman and vice versa.

This design from the Italian studio DEBONADEMEO is enormously versatile, as it works in various spaces. Use it as a small armchair for the living room, an additional seat for guests, a small ottoman in the center of a dressing room, or a footrest in a reading corner. The options are endless.
