Planner 5D Features of The Year

It’s been a very busy year for us at Planner 5D. Over the course of 2022, we have developed and launched several new features to make home design easier and more accessible than ever. We have also added many new items to our catalog to ensure you have everything you need to create your dream home.

Smart Wizard

With Smart Wizard, you can create a fully furnished floor plan in under a minute. This feature makes redecorating a breeze, not to mention saving you time and taking the guesswork out of the process.

Start by creating a new project with Smart Wizard. You’ll be prompted to select your room’s shape from the existing six options, then add your measurements and specify the room’s function. Your options are a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, home office, living room or kid's room. Select your style from Boho, industrial, Japanese, minimalist, country or Scandinavian and watch the magic happen.

You’ll get a fully furnished room in your choice of style that you can adjust by shuffling the furniture layout until you find the one you’re satisfied with. Easy peasy.

Scan Room

No more stressing over measuring your rooms! Using Apple’s powerful RoomPlan technology, Scan Room lets you scan any room in your house and automatically convert it into a 3D floor plan. No need to measure anything as Scan Room accurately captures your room’s dimensions, decor and architectural details.

Once you’ve generated your floor plan, you can try out different styles, furniture and decor items. The best part is that you’ll know precisely what the room will look like since you’re using an accurate scan of your room and its architectural features.

Home Plans

We know that apartments can be challenging to decorate, so we came up with Home Plans. Take the guesswork out of figuring out how to arrange furniture and decor items in any apartment.  Whether you have a bachelor apartment or a three-bedroom spacious apartment, we have the solution for you.

Our design library offers an extensive selection of fully furnished floor plans and layouts. All you have to do is select the one that meets your needs, pick a color scheme, and you’re ready to go. All plans come complete with furniture and appliances to help you visualize how your apartment can look.

Planner 5D PRO

As Planner 5D has grown, so have our users. We've watched many of you launch your interior design careers, and now we want to help you grow your businesses. Enter the Planner 5D PRO subscription!

So far, the PRO is one of our most popular new features, with additional functionalities coming next year! The PRO gives you a branded profile page and a dedicated portfolio where you can upload your design projects. This makes it easy for potential clients to discover you, their fave new designer.

As a PRO, you can also access the 360 panoramas and the anti-copy feature, a valuable tool for designers who want to share their work with others but are worried about their ideas being stolen. By providing the anti-copy feature, we are helping to give designers the confidence and peace of mind they need to share their work without worrying about theft.

The 360 panorama feature is useful for creating immersive and visually stunning interior photos. The ability to capture 360-degree views of space can give viewers a better sense of the layout and design of a room and allow them to fully experience the beauty of the surroundings. This can be especially useful for designers who want to showcase their designs and give clients a better understanding of what their finished space will look like.

Collaborate

iOS users can now share designs and ask for input with Collaborate! This new feature makes it easy to work on projects together and gather feedback and ideas for any project. Please note that both sides need to have a Planner 5D account, and currently, only the person sharing the project can make live changes.
