You need to make a room size of the opening you want, then on lower level you select the ceiling to be invisible and on upper level you select the floor to be invisible. You may also have a look at the related post in the forum. Let me know if you need further assistance.

excellent , and as for the lighting in my renders they are not on, and the room Im working is lacking natural light so the can lights will be lighting this space.
