Hi! I think that your project is slightly out the brief of this contest. More than a modern vibe, it has a rustic feel. However, I have to say that your desing is solid and on many levels clever. I love the beautiful contrast between the dark walls and the beautiful floor, which gives warmness to the room. I love the fact that you have chose to use a lot of wood, a marteial that I like so much and that makes the place so cozy. I think that the parquet pattern gives to your design a certain degree of drama, which is another element that I really like. The layout is simple and makes the room very livable, I love how the fireplace stands out. It creates a very beaitufil focal point. My only negative criticism is about the painting over it. The fact that is not in line with the fireplace create a sort of asymmetry little bit disturbing. Otherwise, I cannot falt your project. I'm voting for you. Good luck.

I love your overall design its unique and the parquet flooring looks so different. The placement of furniture is also very nice. But only call out is that the design is probably not inline with the modern theme the contest is asking for. Otherwise its beautiful
