To decorate the white walls, a grey accent layer was put on the side of the door. This room has a bed with built-in bench, a study area, a vanity, clothes and toys storage, and a nook for recreation. The central area is spacious enough for playing as well.

This kitchen was designed between traditional and modern styles. Open shelves were installed both for storage and decor. The dining table is specifically round to tone down all the edges in the room due to the rectangular built-ins. The rug was a statement piece.

The design of the room is man cave-inspired, although it can very much accommodate all members of the family. A billiards table is placed, as well as some dart boards. Everyone can relax in the sofas, while watching TV or playing. There are shelves for books, audio equipment, and board games storage.

A reading nook is strategically placed beside a window, for natural light. Across it is a tall shelf with a ladder for access to the books placed high up. The main living area can also be reached by natural light. An accent wall was made to contrast the sofa.

Several light fixtures were placed to keep the brightness and openness of the room. It has a simple white and brown design with touches of different textures like brick. Since the accent wall is already too loud, I did not put anymore decor on it. By the door is an entire cabinetry that could serve as a pantry.

Since the space is small, neutral colors were used for the interior finish. The walls were made white to make a sort of illusion that the room is bigger. Different wood textures were used, too, to contrast the whites and blacks. Instead of placing a headboard, an entire wall was made an accent wall. Storage spaces were made available.

This hotel room is a mix of brown as primary room color and grey, black, and white secondarily. Upon entry is a cabinet for storage. Below the mounted TV are uneven shelves, the higher one serving as a desk. A sitting area is also placed by the window.

Combining wood, concrete, and metal gives off an industrial look. To pull this off, the wall finish was made concrete and wood elements are placed all over the place. Metals were used as materials for some furniture (stools & coffee table) and decor. Two corners of the room have reading spaces to take advantage of the huge windows.

This room is a combination of white and brown elements. To add accents on the wall, there were wood textures placed. There were also a lot of shelves not only for storage but also for decor. I wish there more plants available though--bigger ones--they would make the place more alive. Macramé decors were not available too, which could have made the room more boho. Rotate and zoom in for details. Enjoy :)

I designed a French living room with lots of gold elements and brown accents. The mirror with a brass frame on the right was a statement piece for this room. I made sure that the piano was accessible from the sitting area. Instead of placing bulky dressers/wardrobe, I opted for open shelves and a table for decor to give the space a lighter and brighter feel.

Instead of putting huge picture frames and paintings, I made an accent wall in colors green and yellow. And since this wall is already loud, I left all the other ones in white. I spread pastel pink, green and yellow all over the place, from furniture, back splash, curtains, and decor.

This room is a combination of white and gold, with off white and some lightwood touches. The gold elements were spread all over the room, mostly on the metal pieces. Across the bed is a cabinetry with a painting hanging above, which may also serve as a TV wall.

I tried my very best to be as accurate as possible on this one. I really considered all the possible elements in Monica's original apartment in Friends. Please zoom for details! This is my favorite project yet although I wasn't able to finish because the contest will end in a few hours.

I designed a simple loft and played with modern and industrial touches. I picked a black-grey-brown palette. I placed a shelf under the stairs to maximize the space. I did not cloud the space with many furniture and decor to retain its openness and pleasant vibe. Zoom in for details.
