I did not know that there were any official Scandinavian colors? I guess I goofed as well. We used some of the same colors. I also like the patterns you used. We used the same wallpaper as well.

Hi Erin. What we got here is a simple, minimalistic but really charming place where spend time relaxing, reading a good book or just enjoying some chatting with one or two good friends. The soft colors works beautifuly and nailed the brief. You injected some splash of colors with the plants and on the rugs. I love that wall paper, an element of dynamism that create some sense of motion and add dept to that part of the room. The layout is simple and makes the most of that space. There is no nosense in your project and at the same time you managed to go for that extra mile, putting some nice touches that are the personality of your project. That's a lovely, lovely desing. I'm on page 8. I'd like to know what do you think of my design.

Wow, yours totally amazing as always, I really like how each of the seating has a coffee table and everything goes together quite nicely. The plants add a nice green to the room. and overall its super good. Also love your profile picture!!

I like the colours that you chose for the design and those accent pillows!! Everything would have looked perfect if you had changed the layout a bit because in my personal taste everything feels too pushed against the wall. Nice touch with the wooden beams! Good luck :)

Hi, I really like your plan. The decor is good and you have placed those huge plants well, it hasn’t become crowded all over and it’s good to have plants in the room. It would have been nice to have a seat between the two plants, but overall it’s super!

Good day Erin. Here’s my opinion. The fireplace area looks good for me, except not too much plants on top of the fireplace, maybe just looks good with a single “HOME” décor at the top left of the fireplace. The overall placement of furniture is good.

Comes to the “bison skull” area, for me one fancy light at the right side is enough. The top of the cabinet could just be having a small vase of plant at the left side, nothing more. (simple and harmony with some greeneries, Scandinavian!).

For the big sofa area, I pretty like the wall texture, just having the feel of peace and natural by the leafy background wallpaper, well done here. The pillows on the sofa make it looks symmetrical, but it’s fine since the placement of the rug and the background paintings breaks the symmetrical design. However, one thing I feel is this area is a bit packed. What I mean here is the huge plants at the left of the sofa just being too “HUGE”, making me feels like there’s too much things going on at that single area (the huge plant at the left, the sofa and painting in the middle, and the bone skull area). It’s good if you could replace the huge plant with a middle size plant to make that area look spacious.

Now for the armchairs area, I wouldn’t put a plant right in the middle, it just makes it difficult to walk in and out from the armchairs. The floor lamp in the middle is fine, the color of the pillows looking good matched with the grey color of the armchairs. Again, that area looks symmetrical since you have two armchairs with two tables in front. For me I recommend to just put one coffee table in the middle but slightly to the right, while having the left armchair tilts towards the table. This would just perfectly break the symmetrical looks you have now. (giving a more casual look, and, more Scandinavian!)

Lastly, the ceiling. I like how you are having the beam design here, and yeah, you have just a few lightings, which is great, cause Scandinavian style is talking about more natural light as much as possible. One thing here is again, there are two fancy light (the bubble looking chandelier), which make the room feels a bit fancy (breaks the rule of clean and simple design). I would just leave one at the big sofa area since you already have a floor lamp at the armchairs area.

Welp that concludes my overall opinions, anyone who’ve been here so far feel free to check out my design at page 6 and drop some comments as well. Appreciate that very much. Cheers and have a nice day ;)
