I like your project, too, The warm color of the wooden floor combined with the brick wall and broken by the purple accents makes it different and enjoyable. I would work there, too :) especially having a place to rest when tired as you put a sofa bed upstairs. It is a nice "office out of office", especially nowadays! Good luck with it and stay healthy :).
