I wish they had this when I was 11 and age has nothing to do with it. Think of yourself as doing a job for someone else. Did you design what they wanted? and are they satisfied? Those factors should shape your design to make the client happy and give you a sense of pride because of the effort you put in. This is a good start but next project, use objects that fit the room and dont seem oversized or cluttered. I suggest google for images on styles for interior design or IKEA catalogs.
