Thank you so much! Pastels just aren't for everyone and I agree they can be overwhelming or overdone but I'm really glad you liked mine :)

My comment would be basically the same as the one above mine. Pastels are not my favorite colors, too, but you made them looking very attractive, the soft is the right word. I also love your solution for the kitchen side of the wall that divide kitchen from living room. And the floors are great too.

Hello Sara! I just wanted to say your design really stood out to me and my three favorite things about it are: 1. The dining area, especially the napkin pattern choice against the gray plates with the light wood against purple on green and green on purple chairs! (plus the arrangement/distribution of the objects on top is well balanced in terms of visual weight and symmetry and over all very pleasing to the eye) 2. The way you've arranged the objects on the shelf in the kitchen. The distribution is quite nice and to me at least it definitely gives off some very lovely still life energy. n.n 3. The choice of the mint green stain over the same wider grained/heavier textured wood as the table for the kitchen cabinets. The colors and textures you've picked for the metal stone and wood of the kitchen unit both contrast and compliment each other along a well thought out monochromatic spectrum and the bamboo steamer and utensils make for a very nice accent while adding some warmth!
