I was a kid that didnt want childish colors; especially after starting school. I wanted to be a designer even as young as 3rd grade. I had my Dad make me a bunkbed in two parts and a wall of animal cages that had many clear cubbies and platforms. I like the open plan and the window showing that there is still time to swim. There is a waterfall with a water treatment center and sharks in the pool (toys of course). There are two dining tables and niche--steps on both sides leading onto the deck. I have a storage shed with a door on the East. I have a planter in the front and lots of seating.

I love that the kids can relax and enjoy time reading and looking out before bedtime and privacy curtains can be drawn if someone likes to stay up later or do homework. Its kind of a home away from home bed cubby. Pull out drawers under the bed to allow for a trundle as well. With the Architecturally inclined on the right and the younger child with all of the cutest pics on the left. Its a space that can be shared easily with all the comforts.
