My husband and I purchased a home that was built in 1924 and has not had any updating since about the 30s when the kitchen was enlarged. We are living in it as we gut it and remodel each and every room. We are even finishing the basement. It is a LOT of hard work but it is fun too. This site looks like it can be of great help...it is very inspiring to see the awesome work of others on here. I struggle a bit but hope to achieve something that looks decent soon.
