I Elena! Finally you are in the contest! Did you submitted today? Because I think that last time I checked, and it was last night, I did not see it. Thank you for your review on my project, I really apreciate it as always. I wrote it 100 times so I'm going to do it 1 time more. When I had read the brief for this contest I was in heaven!!! As I told you in the past I'm a huge FRIENDS fan and Monica's apartment it is my favourite sit come stage of all times. The forniture is not match-y, match-y as I wanted to recreate that feel of flea market style built in layers over time (the original apartment belonged to Monica's nana). I tried to keep that almost rustic-fairy tale vibe in the air. For the layout I took inspiration in part from the Central Perk,the caffetteria where the FRIENDS gang usually hanging during their free time. The two leather armchair are a reference to Joy and Chandler's apartment. The coloured decoration on the wall is a tribute to FRIENDS logo. The frames are white as the color of the font

To be entirely honest with you I think that you are half way from the brief point of view. There are some major changes in your take on Monica's apartment style. For example you decided to eliminate the characteristic brick wall in the kitchen and the iconic purple door which are some of the most recognizable key features. You kept the purple on some walls but in a different shade. You used a more stilish white for the kitchen cabinets which is less bold than the original turquise. However I have to say that I REALLY liked the fact that what you kept touch was the original whacky and bohemian style of the house. You softened it and make it more modern but it is still there. Injecting all those color was a risky move but it worked. More than Monica's choice I would say that it could be a Phoebe's idea. (Continue)

I really love your attention for the details. It looks like the work of someone that really cared to makes this place feel like home. The coloured frames, the dishes, the plants jar, the cushions, the lovely, crazy rug at in the entryway. I can see that you were put out of your confort zone but you really tried and went for the extra mile. BRAVA! Maybe it is not very much alike Monica's apartment but the spirit is there and it is a playful, funny room full of joy . I will vote for you.

Hi, I like the beams and the shelves very much, and the whole flat is just vibrates from colors, it is all very cheerful, I love it!

I realized that my first message was cutted. I said that the colored decoration is a reference to FRIENDS logo. The frames are white as the color of the font and the pannells are the same colors of dots between the letters. I found the hex code online. The golden petrol is a tribute to one of my favourite designers here. You! Yes, when I chose that color I decided to do something in gold thinking about your designs.

Hi, I really enjoy your rainbow apartment. I could never think that such bright color scheme could be so cozy. Your attention to the details is also amazing. How did you do that nice rainbow rug near the entrance door? It is so cool. And that floor lamp in the corner - you have super imagination!

omg, this looks crazy good! I was not expecting anything like this! I think its great, that you didn't just copy Monica's house, but you made it with your own twist.
