Hi Oli. A very interesting project. To be fair, it has a retro touch that put it little bit far from the brief but I have to say that I really like it! I love the combination of brick and wood. A marriage made in haven for me. I love te rustic vibe of it. You have decided to go for the same material and pattern both on the floor and on three walls. I like the "hugging" effect that it gives and how it makes the room really cozy and warm. I really like that "strange" separé made using a fireplace. It creates an intimate and very snugg-y private living room. My only negative criticism are the outside walls. You started to decorate them but you did not finished! That's a shame. However it remain a nice design with a lot of nice and good ideas.! Well done.
