¡La primavera está en el aire!

Starting with a blank slate of colors like white and grey, I have balanced the room with warm comfy colors of nature with flowers, mauve, copper, peach, marble floors, marble table which may have been too much for such a busy room. I used the gray/white walls to serve as a backdrop with two walls of brick and complimentary walls; outside of the kitchen. Mauve serves as a color break and room break. Colors are balanced throughout the area including the separate stations for coffee, a serving table (credenza) and a inlet of narrow shelves next to the door to hide; well... what ends up by the door from shoes, overflow and items to come and go frequently for easy organizing. Plenty of heavy shelves adorn the kitchen to show off those wonderful mixers, cooking gadgets and machinery that we all love. With open shelving, it will help you to spot those handy doodads easily (not enough gadgets on the menu here but using my imagination to see those cool things showcased here).
